Religious Education 2024 - 2025
Religious Education in All Saints
Following Liverpool Archdiocese guidance, the mission of our Religious Education is to equip our children with the knowledge, understanding and skills to live a Catholic life by knowing and sharing in the love of Jesus and knowing that “As a family in faith, we rejoice, love and grow”.
We aim to develop our children's faith commitment and spirituality, appropriate to their age and capacity, ensuring they are religiously literate young people.
This year we are continuing our transition from using 'Come and See' as a scheme of work, to following the Religious Education Directory, 'To Know you more clearly,' as a model curriculum. In line with guidance from Liverpool Archdiocese, we are gradually implementing 'To know you more clearly,' having started in Early Years (Nursery and Reception) last year and Key Stage 1 (Year 1 and 2) and Year 3 this year. We will continue to implement this into Years 4, 5 and 6 in 2025 – 2026.
